a thank you note to bear
when i started this blog almost four years ago i never imagined itd reach so many people !! back then i was excited to get a few hits on my page or a kudos in my inbox ... now theres over a hundred people viewing my posts every week.
i originally came to bear to escape prying eyes. i liked having a space where i could be anonymous and post my thoughts sans inhibition. i still post like nobodys watching but in the back of my mind maybe i feel a little inclined to perform or to clean things up or consider an audience ... its interesting.
that said - its heartwarming seeing new names in town and watching more people discover a love of writing through a niche platform like this. i look back on my initial enamoration so fondly and love that others get a chance to feel the same.
